Once this is over, whenever that is, we will need to decide what we keep and what we discard. We have got into new habits and practices some of which will be good to keep. For example, hand washing will be a good practice to keep. How about working from home or having online meetings? I know it is premature but how about listing what you want to keep doing after the pandemic has passed. Will you keep shaking hands? Will you keep in close contact with family and friends? Will you assist your children with home learning once they return to school? Will you have daily walks?

Now is a good time to reflect and decide on how you want to live and work in the future. The pandemic can have an upside. Lockdown has forced us to live differently. What will we do once the lockdown is over? If you develop good habits now you won’t have to change much to  make them permanent. Will you continue to use zoom? Will you drive less?

The pandemic is a once in a lifetime opportunity to make significant changes to our lives.

Don’t miss the opportunity. Don’t go back to normal. Go forward to a new normal.
