Hence sabotage. Do you sabotage yourself? Do you entertain thoughts that stop you from doing your best? Thoughts like ” I am hopeless at….”If you have got into the habit of sabotaging yourself, here is a simple way to stop. Imagine there are two voices inside your head. One that helps and one that sabotages. Give them names. Choose a name you don’t like for the saboteur. Next time you hear this negative voice, ignore it. Ask the positive voice for advice or an opinion. Maybe tell the saboteur that you are busy at the moment. Busy doing what are doing with all your focus with no time to listen to unhelpful or sabotaging thoughts.
