Heart thinking

I am sure you have read many times that you should follow your heart. On the other hand, we are told to keep our emotions in check as if they will lead us astray. Which is it?

What do I want to achieve? Collect the data, choose the best solution that is most likely to achieve your purpose.

Now pause or sleep on it. The heart brain doesn’t seem to work as fast or sometimes too fast. You may wake up with  a different perspective or strong support for the same one. Your rational decision maker speaks and understands English. Your emotional decision maker communicates with feelings. Sensible decision but how do you feel? Careful not to be rushed and ignore your heart, emotions, gut. Make sure you have done the research and consulted others….and that you are comfortable, all of you.
