Fake it ’til you become it

It seems that your mind tells your body how to present itself. Strangely, the reverse is also true. Your body can tell your mind how to behave.

If you stand or sit tall, you will start to feel more confident. If you adopt a ‘power stance’ with your arms held up as if you just won a race, your mind will follow your body.

Next time you are asked to speak in public, spend a few moments in private with your arms up in the air looking triumphant. The positive energy will flow into you and your presentation
