Conquer fear?

How do you conquer fear? Why conquer fear?

Maybe acknowledge and live with. Fear is a warning and sometimes a hurdle. If we see fear as a emotion that needs conquering, it must be an enemy. It’s more a friend. About as much a friend as a warning light on your dashboard indicating low fuel or a problem with the brakes. You wouldn’t smash the warning light. Acknowledge and live with. If the problem is serious, do something. If not, acknowledge and live with. If you knew the gauge was faulty, ignore it.

Speaking in public is important. Speaking out is important. Don’t let irrational fear prevent you from speaking. The risk involved in public speaking is minimal. If you fail, you try again. You won’t get injured or die.

I can help you put the fear of public speaking where it belongs. It is a faint warning light which shows you that your system is working. Nothing more. Contact me if you have something to say but are holding yourself back by making a small risk into a huge one.
