Accepting change

Seems like we have two options. We can change what we can change and accept what we can’t. An obvious first step is to change our behaviour. This is difficult but our best option. The next step is to change the behaviour of others. This is ambitious. It might be better to just change your behaviour which may cause them to change theirs. The final step is to learn to accept what we cannot change and stop worrying about what we cannot change. Acceptance is usually a calm place once you get good at it. Imagine getting angry at a hose that has kinks in it… or the weather. Try acceptance in 2020. Any action you take will have a good foundation if you start with full acceptance instead of annoyance. You will age whether you like it or not.
